About my experience:

My Composing Journey

I graduated from Maynooth University with a First-Class Honours BA in Music and Pure Mathematics, specialising in Music Composition.

I was privileged to study under Irish composer Ryan Molloy, who was named as Composer of the Year 2024 by Gradam Ceoil TG4.

I have a decade of experience writing my own songs, and several years of composing and arranging music for choirs.

I have written and arranged music for choirs across Ireland and beyond, including:

Galway City Chamber Choir
Maynooth University Chamber Choir
Réalta Chamber Choir
Airneán
Cór Fingal and others.

My arrangements have been performed alongside Irish musical icons such as Dermot Kennedy and Phil Coulter.

About my style

I write with a fluid sense of tonality, without sacrificing accessibility to singers. It is always my goal to write something truly new, but with a strong foundation in the idioms of the choral music I know and love. According to one singer who performed my music: "It's very clear from your music that you are a choral singer yourself."
