I am an Irish composer, teacher and choral singer.

My Background

I have over a decade of experience singing in internationally-acclaimed choirs including Maynooth University Chamber Choir, Norway's Kammerkoret Aurum and LORICA, winners of the City of Derry International Choir Competition 2024. In 2025, I was one of fifteen singers selected to participate in the Chamber Choir Ireland Studio Programme for emerging professional choral singers.

I have written and arranged music for choirs across Ireland and beyond, including Galway City Chamber Choir, Maynooth University Chamber Choir, Réalta Chamber Choir and Cór Fingal. My arrangements have been performed alongside Irish musical icons such as Dermot Kennedy and Phil Coulter.

In 2024, I graduated from Maynooth University with a first-class honours BA in Music and Pure Mathematics.

The Fermata Podcast

Projects

In 2025, I started the podcast Fermata as a space to think deeply about music in cultural context - what music means to us, and why - and how to make the music you write or play that bit more special.

From the inner workings of polyphonic music to the ways TikTok and Spotify are shaping the music we make, you'll see music in a whole new way, and understand why these new dimensions matter.
